The Department of lmmigration and Multicultural Affairs has a series of PDF booklets available from their website called Beginning a Life in Australia. These booklets provide an excellent overview of the issues that will face you as you settle into Australia with lots of tips to help make your transition to living in Australia easier. There is a separate booklet for each State and Territory and they are also available in more than 20 other languages.
