Australians love holidays---and we have plenty of them to celebrate!

Australia follows predominantly Christian traditions, and even non-religious Australians celebrate the traditional Christian holidays of Christmas and Easter. These are major public and national holidays.

Other national holidays (non-religious) include Australia Day on 26 January, and ANZAC Day on 25 April.

If you would like to find out more about Australian holidays, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship has an excellent outline.

You can also download the Diary of Australia from their website, which provides dates for multicultural celebrations around the country. You can download the whole diary, or just individual months.
