The Centre for International Medical Graduates (CIMG) is located within the Skills Recognition Centre of the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital campus of Queensland Health. The CIMG runs preparation programs to assist international medical graduates (IMGs/overseas trained doctors) working as registered medical practitioners in Queensland Health and Mater Misericordiae public hospitals. These programs are:

MCQ Preparation Program to prepare international medical graduates to pass the AMC Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination is generally the first step in the process of gaining full or general medical registration in Australia. The MCQ Preparation Program includes Trial Examinations with consultant reviews;

Clinical Preparation Program to prepare IMGs for the AMC Clinical Examination. This program includes a lecture program and a Trial Examination with consultant feedback.
