Information Logged

The Department of Health and Ageing makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:

• the date and time of access to the site
• pages accessed and documents downloaded
• the previous site visited

This information is collected for the following purposes:

• web site and system administration, including monitoring to prevent security breaches;
• enhancement of the website to the user’s needs; and

No attempt will be made to identify anonymous users or their browsing activities except in the unlikely event of an investigation where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the log files.

Provision of email addresses

We seek feedback from you in order to improve the service offered by the DoctorConnect website. We will only record your email address if you send us a message or provide it to us with any content contributions or feedback in any parts of the DoctorConnect website.
